These terms and conditions govern your use of the BitCask website and the services we provide, including membership, cask ownership, bespoke bottlings, private tastings and bottle orders. By using this website you accept these terms.

This website concerns alcoholic products. You may only use it, place an order or hold a cask if you are of legal drinking age in your country of residence. We ask you to confirm this on arrival and again before any purchase, and we may ask for proof of age at any time.
Membership of The BitCask Club is free to join and may be held on a private or corporate basis. Tiers are earned through qualifying activity and the benefits attached to each tier may change with reasonable notice. Membership is personal to you and may not be transferred without our written consent.
Casks are sold as physical goods held in a bonded warehouse in Scotland. Ownership is evidenced by a delivery order or equivalent warehouse documentation issued in your name. Storage and insurance are arranged on your behalf and charged as set out in your cask agreement.
Whisky casks are an unregulated asset. Values can fall as well as rise, past performance is not a guide to future performance, and nothing on this website is investment, tax or legal advice.
All orders are subject to availability and to our acceptance. Prices are shown in Singapore dollars and exclude duty, taxes and delivery unless stated. Where an outturn sells out or a price is listed in error we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
Payment, duty and delivery arrangements are confirmed by your cask manager before an order is dispatched. Title passes on receipt of full payment. Delivery timescales are estimates and may be affected by customs, excise and carrier delays.
You may cancel an undelivered bottle order at any time before dispatch for a full refund. Bespoke bottlings, engraved or personalised items and casks held under a signed cask agreement are made or acquired to your instruction and cannot be cancelled once work or purchase has begun, except where the goods are faulty or not as described.
Tastings are booked subject to availability and confirmed in writing. Guests must be of legal drinking age. Cancellations inside seven days of the event may be charged in whole or in part to cover committed costs.
All content on this website, including text, imagery, data and the BitCask name and marks, belongs to BitCask or its licensors and may not be copied or reused commercially without our written consent. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or scrape our data.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any service is limited to the sums you have paid us for that service, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of value or other indirect loss.
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies to your use of the website. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer rights you hold locally.
